There is nothing more beautiful than a wild cottage garden in Spring! This is Harriet’s garden in motion. This project involved significant work to re-direct rainwater away from the dwelling to protect the homes foundations whilst allowing the garden to remain damp and prosper. A loose, informal stone placement retains the garden where it meets the house and speaks to the wild, cottage theme. Each spring, temporary paths are wiper snipped into the garden before being allowed to grow out by autumn. Annual and perennial plants dance freely across the yard and in time blur the line between path and garden. Harriet is a wonderful gardener and it shows.
