A garden space for each family member! This garden was broken up into 5 key rooms, with different themes in each reflecting the personal tastes of each family member. Rooms included Mediterranean, Exotic, Japanese and Australian Native gardens and a locally Indigenous grassland.
The existing garden shed was expanded to retain the Hawthorn brick walls and give the backyard a focal point. Three raised wicking food production beds provide season greens. The topography within the garden was adjusted to catch runoff stormwater. A ‘something for everyone’ garden.
