Disorganised, haphazard car parking in the root zone of a mature Spotted Gum (Corymbia maculata) was running the risk of impacting the trees health long term. A shallow garden bed supports a 100% Indigenous planting chosen to survive the difficult dry shade conditions present below an existing mature Eucalyptus. A stepping stone pathway leads visitors around the garden edge and further protects the trees root zone from foot traffic damage enabling local ground covering plants to grow.
